You have access to functionality in the Scale plan free for 14 days. You can invite all of your colleagues to your trial as well. After your trial is over, purchase any of the plans to continue working on your prototypes and applications.
Yes. You can try Aha! Builder without any obligation. No credit card is required.
If you already have Aha! Roadmaps or Aha! Ideas, contact us at support@aha.io to try out Aha! Builder for 14 days in your account. You will be able to access it right from your account. If you want a separate Aha! Builder account, you will need to use a different email address.
You get a shared pool of AI credits to use during your trial. The person who signs up gets 30 credits, and each additional user who logs in to your account gets 10 more credits (for up to five additional users). Any users added beyond that will not increase the credit total. Contact us at support@aha.io if you have questions or need more credits to complete your trial.
This is not enabled by default to prevent fraudulent use of the product during the trial. If you want to test deploying applications to production during your trial, contact us at support@aha.io.
Your trial is your permanent Aha! Builder account. If you convert to a paid account, you will still be able to access all your prototypes and applications after your trial. Your Aha! administrator can go to the Billing section in your Account settings, choose one of our plans, and sign up. Contact us at support@aha.io if you want to select an annual plan and receive invoices. If you decide not to purchase, your account will expire.

Aha! Builder Pro includes everything you need to create prototypes and business applications. The Team plan adds advanced capabilities — including the ability to apply your design system, feedback collection, custom subdomains, user guides, and enterprise governance reviews. The Scale plan is ideal for larger teams that need features such as SAML-based SSO, customer CNAMEs, email delivery, Aha! Roadmaps integration, and support from Product Concierge.
We offer both monthly and annual billing. Monthly plans are paid by credit card. Choose an annual plan for a discount and the option of being invoiced. Contact us at support@aha.io to set up invoicing.
All plans include one deployed application per account. If you need more, you can purchase additional deployed application packs:

These limits are pooled across the number of deployed applications that are purchased. If you anticipate needing higher usage, please contact us at support@aha.io.
Absolutely. You can decommission a deployed application at any time. This provides flexibility. For example, you might want to capture user feedback on a prototype for a period of time and then remove it from production.
Yes, you can switch from monthly to annual payments at any time. You can also switch between the Pro and Team plans. Contact us at support@aha.io if you want to make a change.
You can add or remove users at any time. If you add users, you will be billed the prorated amount immediately (and not on the next recurring bill).
Yes — the price you pay changes based on the plan you select, the number of users in your account, and a modest annual adjustment for cost of living. The price increases 3% annually to help offset our own costs rising and to make sure we can continue supporting people in need through Aha! Cares.
AI credits are included in all Aha! Builder plans. Each account receives a shared pool of credits based on the plan type and number of paid users. The Team plan allows you to control the number of credits by user. Purchase an additional 250 AI credits for $39 at any time.
Credits are used whenever someone interacts with the AI assistant and other complex AI activities, with exact usage determined by the request's complexity. They are also consumed if you embed AI into your application and end users engage with the capabilities.
Use Aha! Builder as part of a seamlessly integrated suite of product development tools. This ensures product teams have everything they need to go swiftly from discovery to delivery. In the Scale plan, for example, you can send features from Aha! Roadmaps to Aha! Builder.

Yes. Create prototypes to explore new thinking and gather user feedback. A prototype has all of the power of an application, including a built-in database and the ability to move into production. The difference is that we wait to build out the full backend infrastructure until you are ready and your requirements need it.
If your company manages key work in spreadsheets or antiquated homegrown systems, or if you need to build new tools for customers, Aha! Builder is for you. For example, you can develop and quickly launch product catalogs, fixed asset inventory trackers, marketing material repositories, vendor/partner management workflows, intake or request forms, and survey or approval flows.
The number of prototypes and applications you can create in your account is 10 times the total number of paid user seats. This gives you plenty of capacity to create new experiences. We also include one deployed application in your plan, and you can purchase additional deployed application packs. (See: How much does it cost to deploy additional applications?)
Administrators control which Aha! users have access to each application in your Aha! Builder account. All users with a paid seat are given owner permissions, which means they can create new applications and edit existing ones they have access to.
Guest passes are useful if you need assistance from someone on your team. For example, bring in an engineer to troubleshoot an issue or a designer to adjust typography and colors. You can invite one person at a time to access a single application for up to two hours. This capability is included in the Team plan. For ongoing collaboration, add team members as paid users.
Choose between multiple authentication methods. Options include using email and passwords; single sign-on with Google, Microsoft, or GitHub; or SAML configuration. (Note that end users do not need to be Aha! users. Applications are hosted, so people who are not Aha! users can easily access them.)
Aha! Builder includes everything you need to run a business application. Configure user authentication, database, integrations, AI capabilities, and email delivery — no third-party services needed.
Aha! Builder uses a PostgreSQL database. It is a relational database that stores data in structured tables (like very reliable, connected spreadsheets) and lets you work with that data using SQL, a standard query language.
You do — it is yours. You can view, edit, and download the full codebase at any time.
Capturing input from end users is fundamental to building lovable software. With Aha! Builder, you can embed a custom-branded feedback widget in prototypes or live applications. This requires the Team plan. If you use Aha! Builder with Aha! Roadmaps or Aha! Ideas, you can also stream feedback directly into your ideas portal. This makes it easy to collect requests in real time and establish a continuous feedback loop.
Applications run in our proven Aha! managed cloud environment (powered by AWS). The infrastructure is designed to protect your data and ensure consistent performance.
AWS data centers are covered by comprehensive information security programs, including ISO 27001 and SOC 1, 2, and 3 standards. Data is encrypted both in transit and at rest, and we use network and web application firewalls to guard against unauthorized access and common threats. Our systems are also continuously monitored across the application, network, and data layers to maintain security and reliability.
